Ninja Ramen and Thai
If you're cruising around Saginaw, Michigan and craving some flavorful Chinese food, Hunan Restaurant is a chill spot worth checking out. Tucked away at 3109 Bay Plaza Dr, this place offers a laid-back vibe that’s perfect whether you're grabbing dinner with the fam or catching up with a group of friends.
The moment you walk in, you’ll notice it’s pretty quiet — in a good way. No blaring music or hectic crowd, just a relaxed setting where you can actually hear your conversation. It’s also super kid-friendly, so bringing the little ones along is no problem at all.
Now, let’s talk about the food — because that’s really what you're here for. One of the absolute must-tries is their Almond Boneless Chicken. Crispy, tender, and smothered in rich brown sauce, it’s a classic favorite that hits all the right notes. If you’re into a bit of heat and full-on flavor, the Ma Po Tofu is legit — spicy, savory, and satisfying without being over the top. Oh, and don’t skip the Sichuan Noodles. They’ve got that perfect chewy texture with just enough kick to wake up your taste buds.
Service here is pretty solid, too. The staff’s friendly, and they get your order out without much of a wait, which is always a plus when you're hungry and ready to dive in.
Whether you're a local or just passing through Saginaw, Hunan Restaurant brings the kind of casual dining experience that keeps people coming back. The food is consistently tasty, the atmosphere’s easy-going, and it’s a great spot to settle into for a relaxed, satisfying meal.

The shop felt like a nice cozy place. The Fast service was impressive and the ramen dish was quite tasty. Very friendly and welcoming.
Pretty decent vegan options here in Corpus. The garlic edamame is delicious and the miso soup is pretty good as well! The veggie udon and veggie pho are okay. Not a lot of flavor but gets the job done. The mango sticky rice is a yummy finish for a vegan. The server was very nice as well.
The noodles were so good!! We also have the fried rice which was so delicious. We will be going again soon.
We were seated immediately. The service was friendly and helpful, since this was our first time in. It is a small location. The establishment only seats about 10 tables. It's typical for a restaurant in a strip mall setting as far as atmosphere goes. The food was a 5/5. The appetizer was hot and flavorful and a good size portion. I had the drunken noodles and they were wonderful. We will definitely be back to try something else on the menu. A great little hole in the wall for some very good food.
The food is always good. They have the best squid salad and crab puffs in town. The only drawback is that it is usually freezing in the restaurant.
